Piece by piece- chrome be gone via PD
Like me, my husband doesn't like the chrome on his vehicle. He wasn't keen on the colour to begin with and having seen a lot of plasti dip threads here I may just fulfill his wish and completely PD his truck. Here's what I have done so far, plus the RAM badges and side steps earlier in the week:

And I couldn't resist throwing in a pic of my baby TorCher and his PD'd rockers :D

You know, you'll have to excuse me for being a little ole skool but I personally like a little chrome accents myself on my vehicles. Now having said that, I am really diggin your Burgundy/Black theme going on with your truck. It looks real good and being you are doing this for your man, that just makes it even more special! Great job!

Thanks. He works hard to bring home the bacon and one way I show a little appreciation is by giving his truck some TLC :)

Looks great.. Love plasti-dipp.. Killed out all of my chrome finally.. holds up excellent. Oh ya, where abouts in southern Ontario do you live.. And here is a pic of my Ram with all chrome blacked out with plasti-dipp minus rims.

Looks good! He hasn't said anything about rims but they are probably next. I'm hoping to pick up some red when I'm in Buffalo next week to do my Charger's summer rims and I already have the black on my winter OEM rims.

I'm on the other side of the horseshoe, the Oshawa area.

I would have only done the grill slots

He wanted it all black so his wish was my command. He also wants a stripe on the hood so that might tie it in better. Too much rain in the forecast this weekend but hope to get it done soon.

You can always do the exhaust tips too
