2013 Dodge trucks are lemons

Let's see, my trucks fuel tank is empty and have been to 3 stations trying to put fuel in and the only place the fuel is going is the side of the truck. Next, there's the issue of check engine light always on. Then there's the key thingy not able to go in the off position and being able to remove it. Manual 4 wheel drive shifter, can't get it to move and afraid of breaking the handle. Does Dodge even care?? Wondering how they could wait 6 months to release this truck and still have this many problems. It's got less then 4000 miles and wondering how many other things will go wrong before 10000 miles. Every time I sit in the truck to drive it, another thing stops working properly. I bought a new truck to not have problems. Are any of you guys having these problems???? Dropping my truck off tomorrow for the third time and they said they will be keeping it awhile to figure it out. There's nothing like buying a new truck and keeping it at the dealership.

I disagree with your title but can understand why you feel this way. I have only owned my 2013 for about 3 weeks now and have had only 1 problem and that is that sometimes my preset Sirus stations disappear but a quick turn off and back on and all is right in the world.

I see you bought the Tradesman model, I have the laramie longhorn perhaps there are two distinct quality control procedures one for top of the line and one for entry level vehicles?????

That is my only problem and that I am not getting 25 mpg as they advertise but it has only 1100 miles on it so far.

Unfortunately you are not alone, if it's any consolation Chev and Ford are having issues as well. I have a buddy with an ecoboom that's on his second engine and my hunting partner has a new chev that's spent more time at the dealer than it has on the road. It seems to be the state of things to come with all the electronics packed into these vehicles. They either work, they are glitchy and kind of work or they outright continually fail! It's just not right! Other than the typical glitchy stereo mine has been good. Hopefully your dealer can make everything alright.

Sorry for your troubles. Makes my old 2005 look better and better. Almost 200,000 miles, nary a problem. Every time I see a new Ram, I'll look straight ahead, kinda like when you're walking with your wife and see a woman with great cleavage.

3000 miles and still trying to figure out how to get the diesel to go in faster than a drop at a time. Because Dodge changed the frame on the 2013, still unable to install my fifth wheel hitch.

I've got a little over 5000 K on my 13, and other than me having trouble figuring out all the new gadgets it's been flawless. The worst lemon truck I ever had was my 03 duramax...I put up with it for 10 years and will never buy another GM product.

Why I fear trading mine in, my 2011 hasnt missed a beat!

My 2013 Express has had not one problem in the 6 months I've owned it. I think you just had a string of bad luck bud, all manufacturers output problematic vehicles from time to time.

Yeah, I expect problems or glitches with all the new equipment that our trucks have, and I expect them to either fix it or it be in the works. But calling them lemons, that's a little extreme. New vehicles always run into recalls and what not.............

Wow! Sorry you are having these problems. My 2013 Ram 2500 Laramie Mega Cab 4x4 6.7L CTD has been flawless since I took delivery in July.
