aftermarket headunit wiring
I recently purchased a 2000 Ram Sport and the previous owner installed a JVC headunit and had it hooked up to two 6x9s behind the seats.

I realized they didn't have the factory speakers hooked up at all. After some searching I figured out the "blue" wire out of my dash I hooked to the remote wire out of the JVC and now I can get the Pass. side factory speakers to work. I guess my truck has the Infinity speakers/Amp which have to be powered ?

My problem is... I cant get the drivers side to come on at all. Ive tried all kinds of different wiring configurations. I don't have a correct wiring diagram so its kind of a guessing game.

Can anyone help me with this I would truly appreciate it...

The passenger side works but not the drivers side? I had that problem with my 01 ram except it was all of the speakers. It took me forever to figure it out. I can't remember exactly what I did to fix it but I do remember it was something to do with that blue wire. I know this sounds crazy but I want to say it had to be hooked up to the ground wire instead of the power wire. If your pass side is working though it could be a totally different problem though

thanks country... yeah at first none of them were working and i hooked up the wire to my blue wire coming out of the headunit and now i can get the pass side to work but nothing on the drivers side, i really dread running all new wires to the speakers...
