Bighorn

when looking at the specs on the Bighorn customer preferred package it states that it is everything in the luxury group plus a few things.... So, my question is when going to buy my truck why would I pay for the luxury group when it is already included in the bighorn package? Has anybody had to negotiate this or confirm why there are two separate charges?

I know on the 1500 they are completely separate, not sure about the 2500. The Build and Price might help you - http://www.ramtrucks.com/hostc/bmo/CUT201414/models.do

According to the 2014 fleet buyers guide the 2500/3500 regional group (lone star and Big Horn) includes all features of the luxury group, plus trailer brake control, a limited slip differential, chrome door handles, bright grille, aluminum wheels and special badging. So I am led to believe that if I had not selected luxury group the truck would still show up with all of the features.

Just trying to save a buck or 2.

I see in another thread your truck has shipped? You should be able to hit the window sticker URL and see your sticker.

Yea I have and it is included as an optional equipment. Just because it is optional doesn't mean it's correct especially if it is already included in another optional feature.

Typically, there are multiple prices for a package if you have something that overlaps. eg, if you buy the lux package alone, it is $X. If you buy that and the big horn package, it is $Y where $Y is much less than $X.

That is a wonderful thing to remember to look for when testing...

I'm still confused and not sure if it answers my question. If it is included in the Big Horn package, why would I be charged for it again as an additional option?
