Help me figure out what my truck has

Hey everyone,
I bought my 03 Ram 1500 almost two years ago. I always knew she was tall, but never really put any thought into how tall. I've been realising my handling was a bit FUBAR, so I just got it on a lift today. I have 4 bad shocks and both CV axles are bad, as well as one of the ball joints. Whatever, it is what it is.

My issue is, I don't know what lift kit it is on (I was told by the guys at Sears its somewhere in the 3-6" Skyjacker family), but I need an idea how to tell what kit is in there so I know what shocks will fit.

Thanks
-DJ

EWWWWW
don't let SEARS work on your vehicle, especially if it has modified suspension
UNLESS you have no other choice

find a brake & alignment shop, like a 4x4 shop

I have a buddy there who let me put it on the lift for free, just needed to see how much was blown out

Having a friend there does make a difference

So I finally went home over the weekend (college student) and was able to hit the shocks with a powerwasher to get the grease off to see the labels. The fronts are Skyjacker Nitro 8000's and the backs are Rancho RS5000's. Both seem to have multiple models out there, so it didn't much help tell me what lift it is so I still don't know what I need. The time is becoming pressing, as I need parts ordered and installed in two weeks for a big trip. Please, anyone?

Call the companys or email them and describe what you have and they can help you locate a part number or alternate parts numbers

I could be wrong but I think there is a serial number stamped onto the shock body somewhere that the manufacture could probably cross reference with. Usually it is near the ends of the shock body.

So I just checked the shocks serial numbers, called skyjacker and they said "yeah, not our shock". So now I'm lost, but I went to Advanced Autoparts and they gave me some local people who may be able to help. I'm just really lost at this point.

They said "nope, we dont recognize any numbers you're reading us. Must have a decal, must not be genuine"...
Yeah, I'm slightly more than upset
