need led help
 
im trying to put led bulbs in my tailights. i put them in and they hyperflashed so i bought resistors. they dont hyperflash now but when i hit the brakes the license plate and front marker lights light up as brake lights. how can i fix this.

??????????? hmmmm, thats weird, maybe you put the resistor between 2 wires instead of grounding it to the body? Just wondering how you did it.

Even before the resistors it did the same

Think your bulbs have issues, not sure, would need to be there to test, I have installed LED bulbs on both my front and rear lights, all of them have resistors to the body ground and all work perfect. Not sure what to tell you at this point, I actually have replace all my bulbs with LED's, except my backup bulbs that are now HID's and have Zero problems.

By the way, what bulbs did you install, where did you get them from? make?

You would need a 50W 6 ohm resistor.

You have HID's for your back ups? Holy blinded-by-the-light Batman! How the heck did you manage that?

Thats probaly my issue then. The resistors i got were way smaller. Im curious about the hid reverse lights too?

I picked up a kit like this one, not from this guy, but similar product, came with plug & play wires the fit in the original bulb socket. There nice and bright lol
