HID headlights

Hey guys so has anyone out there installed 9006 HID's on their low beam instead of 9012? Well they fit! I ordered low beams and fogs for my 2013 and they ended up sending me two sets of 9006's. well I was annoyed and just wanted to install them and not have to wait to return then get a new set and they fit perfectly and run fine!

That's what I run in my lows! You have to trim one tab on the bulb a bit but that's all!

I didn't even have to trim anything. Just thought I'd post it cause I seen in the past on a thread someone said only a 9012 would fit cause it has the 90 on the end of it

9006 fit easily with no modification.
I installed 55w HIDs in my headlights and 35w HIDs in my foglights, both 5000k

Did you have to have error code eliminators or relay harness to keep them from flickering? I am looking to add the 9006 into my black oem projector headlights and was wondering.

I have both just need to know if they are even necessary?

DO you have any pics of the After? Day or night?

Whats up, I am curious do you have the projector headlight? I want to add HID's to my 2013 1500 Sport and wondering if the 2006 will fit? Current factor bulb I have seen is hir2? Will the 9006's fit as a replacement?

Much Thanks!

I didn't need error code eliminator or relay. Works perfect no flicker. Ya I have the projectors and I ordered HIR2 but got the 9006 but they ended up fitting anyway
