swerving with Load

i have a 2006 ram 2500 with 315/70/17 inch BFG AT Tires Load Range D...i have it lifted 2.5 inches in the front and 2.5 inches in the back..ive also got the 5.7l Hemi engine in the truck..

My question is...Everytime i put a heavy load or haul a trailer or something..i find that my truck is swervy..its hard to keep on the road..maybe not that bad but it swerves a bit too much than what i would expect from a 2500...would anyone here know what would be going on with this truck...

thanks in Advance..

I have heard some guys complaining about the same thing. It stems from the fact that you stepped down to a D rated tire and lost the E rating. The D sidewall is a little more forgiving compared to the E tire. That is where the swerviness comes from. It is very hard to find find E rated 315's.
