Tuners and cats

Hey guys long time no post.

Do the tuners allow you to tune out the rear cats yet? I had a tuner in my truck for a while and i bought it specificly to get the stupid check engine light off and turned out i was lied to. Im still running the ARH LTs on my truck with a catless xpipe and if I can turn that light off Ill jump on the tuner now. Ive been focusing on my diesel and havent been paying attention to the gas stuff

Diablo can through CMR but maybe tables and parameters are different with your year. Follow up with Sean.

A custom tune on a Diablo tuner can turn off the rear o2 sensors that cause the CEL you're getting from not having cats.

I'm running a similar set up with my Pacesetter LT's and no cats. I had my tuner turn off the rear o2's so I wouldn't get the CEL.

So if I remove my cats I will get a ck engine light?

Most likely get P0430 and P0420

^^^ What he said.

Yes you will get the CEL. Until you have the rear o2 sensors tuned out or do the non fouler trick your CEL will be on because you don't have cats

Hey man how have you been!?!?

Like they said only through custom tuning (CMR can do it). HPTuners tells me every time I contact them(past several years) that they will be supporting chrsyler SOON. LOL, apparently soon is relative...

You could always do the non fouler trick, it has always worked for me...
