weird random vibration/grinding
alright so when im driving down the road accelarting sometimes my truck will make a vibrating/grinding noise and i can feel it in the floor wondering if anyone else has experianced this...??? ive replaced all u-joints on the front and rear driveshaft also replaced the driver side u-joint, hub assembaly, and axle seal along with rotors and brakes... i do have 35/12.50/15 tires on it wondering if its a trans prob or hopefully something simple!!! please help!! thanks
Have you noticed:
1. Is it under acceleration?
2. Is it under deceleration?
3. High or low speeds?
4. Turning or in-line?
5. Is it rhythmic?
6. On an incline?
7. Under braking?
Example: High speed while decelerating. <- that would indicate a rear pinion or low gear oil in the rear...
Double cardan joint ballsocket? That's what mine was... ( on the rear of the front driveshaft ) driveshaft spline sloppy? Seen that, too, but it's generally all the time. Is it worse in 4wd mode? in turns?
