Who says a pretty truck can't work hard?

Loading up about 1500# of treated lumber at the yard.

Pretty truck? You bet!
Works hard? You know it.
Remains level under heavy load? Positively!
Drives, steers, brakes as always but with heavy load? Absolutely!

Note there is no squatting whatsoever under load of 3 men & 50/ 12' 2X6 treated lumber:

Way to put that truck to work man! I like it! Who says you can't have a smooth ride and a work truck at the same time?! Thanks for sharing bud!

i should have taken some pix of my Ram working, when i was back east on vacation

i have the short bed on my '09 ram QC 1500
i needed to haul several 2x4x12s about 20 or 30 miles
i have a soft canvas tonneau

i bought a piece of 2'X 4' 1/2" plywood & laid it on the tonneau, ( there is a large toolbox just under the canvas )
then i opened the sliding back window & laid my heavy surplus military jacket over the window track & up the sides a bit
then i started stacking the long 2x4s onto the jacket & had the other end sitting on the scrap plywood, then tied everything down with cotton clothes line.
i could just barely look over the lumber & see my right doors mirror
no lumber was more then 3' past the rear bumper
so technically i was legal :)
