2013 ram hemi 8 speed 0-60
This is a crew cab 4x4 0-60. Pretty quick for a full size truck.

bam2880 09-26-2013 03:32 PM

what do you guys think sub 7 seconds?

Thunderhorse 09-26-2013 04:31 PM

Could be, its a bit hard to tell though. Definitely not the slug that some people make 3.21 diff rams out to be.

bam2880 09-26-2013 05:35 PM

That's for sure and after the hemi gets going with 3.21 gears in the upper Rpms and mph it really pulls

GTyankee 09-26-2013 05:49 PM

I think that tall gearing, like the 3.21 takes a bit more RPMs to start the tires rolling
after 20 mph it should be about the same as the 3.55s
at some where around 50 or 60 MPH the tall gearing really starts working, RPMs drop down & better gas mileage kicks in, unless you keep the throttle down on the floor

BlackRamHemi 09-26-2013 06:49 PM

I think a 7 second 0-60 is okay at best

...but then again once you experience low 4's its a snails pace to me

(even on 3.55's for my tired old 2010 5 speed)

and before anyone starts chirp'n about how much I spent to get there,
it was half the cost of trading mine (with only 25k miles on it) for a new 2013

bam2880 09-26-2013 06:59 PM

So you think you get get below 7 seconds on a stock truck?

BlackRamHemi 09-26-2013 07:08 PM

Post a real time slip from a track

YouTube video ...Really?

I ran low 15's bone stock 4x4 with 3.55's at 3500'+ DA
and with just intake/catback/tune hit high 13 seconds.... and 5.0's 0-60

What do you have to show?

bam2880 09-27-2013 12:33 AM

No I ment saying that my truck is quick for a stock truck

BlackRamHemi 09-29-2013 11:44 AM

I guess I'm a bit biased,
used to 500whp has me spoiled.

I did have a test ride in a new 14' CC 4x4 with 8 speed/3.55 gears
it is pretty peppy for such a large truck no doubt.

I cant remember what mine was like's been 3.5 years
