2010 Ram 1500 won't start!!!

Tried to go for a ride today. Put the key in the ignition, turned it and it wouldn't crank. All of the dash lights and sound turned on but the engine wouldn't start. It wouldn't even try to start, turn over or anything. It made absolutely no sound. On thing that I did notice was along with all of the other dash lights and signs being lit, there was also a small red circular light that was blinking on the dash. Anyone know what's going on. :4-dontknow:

This may sound stupid, but do you have multiple keys(use the wrong one)? If you think it's a low battery, manually turn the headlights on.

Does the remote work? Did someone accidentally hit the panic button?

I had trouble with mine a couple of years ago, the key would not come out. After 20 minutes and a call to the wife it may need to be towed, the gear shifter jumped up and hit me on the head..I left it in drive

First I would try to shift to neutral and see if it would crank, then I would check the battery and connections to the starter. Sometimes the battery has enough power to power the lights but not crank the engine. Hope you get it going.

Make sure the hood is closed good. Make sure no one dinged you in the rear bumper. Make sure it's in gear. Lock it with the fob, then unlock it and see if it works. Sounds like the security kill switch in engaged.
