replacement brake pads and rotors?

Its about that time to replace my rear pads and maybe the rotors, any suggestions what are you using or what to stay away from, I don't really tow, but I do drive hard, so I want same or a little better, well as good as it gets before having to upgrade to bigger rotors and calipers. thanks

I just put on akebono pads, they are awesome and made in usa! only downfall is limited warranty and not lifetime.

ebc sport rotors and ebc green stuff 7000 pads up front. ebc green stuff 6000 pads in rear.the rotors are cross drilled and slotted. well worth the money

I recently had POSI QUIET pads installed
they were highly recommended by my local Alignment & Brake shop
They put them on all of the State, County, & City vehicles that are brought in

They are made by the same company as the STOP TECH products

Got a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads from Brakemotive on ebay for $205 for the entire set. Great deal and they are a million times better than the stock brakes, which were warped after 20k miles. The front rotors were so froze on I had to beat the heck out of them to get them off. Also painted the calipers while I had them off.

I also recommend the akebono pads. They are very quiet and there is so much less dust because they are ceramic. For rotors, either Wagner or Raybestos. Just go with their higher end stuff.

I have used Wagner Thermoquiet ceramics on various vehicles with good results but for whatever reason I get a good amount of brake squeal on my Ram with them. And no, they aren't anywhere near worn out, lol. I went with Wearever (Advance Auto house brand) Platinum ceramics on my wife's car a few months back and they seem to perform every bit as good as the Wagners but are slightly cheaper. I intend to replace the Wagner's on the front of my Ram with the same very soon.

I went with Power Stop rotors, slotted and drilled, and pads and really like them. I bought a set for my car too.

How hard is it to get the rotors(front and back) off? I have done it on a 05 ram just curious to know if there is much difference
