Leveling kits

I've owned my 2012 Ram 1500 4x4 Express for a little over a year and am thinking of installing a leveling kit to raise the front end.
Anyone have input, experiences, good or bad idea?
Appreciate your insight.

Bilstein 5100s adjustable shocks are the most popular way to level these trucks. Look them up. ~$200/pair

If you are tight on money, nothing wrong with a spacer kit like hell bent steel for around $80/pair.

So I ordered a "spacer" type kit off Ebay, no major disappointment with the product and the price was good at $45. Machined Aluminum with hardened studs, the instructions suck but there's enough info out there on the innerweb to get past that.
Now to the concern...
After I installed it and had it aligned I now have a subtle yet noticeable "bump steer" condition that is driving me crazy.
Anyone else experience this?, Is this common and unavoidable?
Appreciate any knowledge that can be sent my way.

Pretty common issue. You might want to dump those and go w the Bilstein 5100s up front like a lot of people on here (myself included). They have a few different settings (2.1" being the most commonly used). They also ride a little firmer but better and come w a lifetime warranty.

Highly reconmend the Bilstien 5100's if you decide to chance up... Excellent quality and do improve ride quality quite a bit.

I appreciate the info guys.
I can't take this wobble BS any longer.
Looks like the spacers are coming out and 5100's will be going in.

Sorry we couldn't help you with the actual cause of the problem. Some trucks are just finicky and react poorly to spacer kits.

you will love the bislteins

So this may be a stupid question but how does the Bilstein 5100 not change the suspension geometry and produce the same "bump steer" type of condition?
