Hi from Northern British Columbia

Hi. I am new to this forum. I am seriously considering purchasing my first Ram truck. Actually my first Chrysler product since owing a 1975 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door hardtop back in the late '70's.

Regarding pickups, I usually have had GM pickups and converted them to run on propane. I am currently driving a propane powered 2007 GM Denali pickup with 6.2L engine Unfortunately, the shop that did my conversions is no longer operating.

A year ago we sold our 2007 Cadillac Escalade and purchased a 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL350 blue-tec. I have been so impressed with the 3.0 L diesel in the MB that I decided to go the same route in a pickup. I don't need a 3/4 ton with big engine so the 2014 Ram with 3.0L diesel should do the trick. I do wish it was 445 lb.ft of torque like the MB, but the extra gear should help. The MB has a 7 speed.

I discovered this forum and it has already answered some of the questions regarding Ram pickups that I have been wondering. When they are available to order, I am seriously considering the Limited. Hopefully we will be able to order them soon.

Hey:Hey: Welcome to the 'Z'. Here you will be able to find everything you are looking for. Great people here to help answer any questions you have about your truck, any ideas you have for Mods, and also put awesome Mod ideas into your head. Glad to have you with us and I hope you enjoy your time here as much as I have. Any questions you have feel free to send me a message and I will try my best to help.:D Sounds like you have a pretty solid vehicle history list lol.. Those propane conversion kits are a nice kit to have and really do pay for themselves with fuel savings. On the topic of the 2014's.. I they will be able to order in the U.S before Canada like most items -.-.. But I am sure in due time there will be tons of news popping up about being able to order the 3.0L.
