TPMS Threshold?
Anyone know what the TMPS threshold is for a 2010 Ram? I'm planning to put 10 ply Goodyear Duratrac's on my 20" rims, but one of the shops I went to said that because the 10 plys require higher PSI, it will trigger the TMPS light to come on?! No other shop told me this would be a problem?!

Is this right?

No one answered, so I'm not sure if no one knows, or no one wanted to share (I'll assume it's the first).

Got my new tires put on with aftermarket TPMS. The tire shop I ended up getting them from advised that the sensors will go pretty high, and the truck won't error on high PSI, but will error/throw a warning when PSI falls 25% below the factory recommended value of 35 PSI.

My new 10 ply's (Goodyear Duratrac's) were set to 80 PSI, which read accordingly on the EVIC, but I'll be dropping them down closer to 50-60 PSI. If they ever throw a warning, then I'm wayyyyy to low for that tire anyhow.

I am glad that it worked out for you
what i know about TPMS, you could put in a thimble & still have the room for your finger tip :(

They should work fine without an issue. I had a bad 1 on my stock tires that would go off whenever it decided to. My m/t's TPMS have never gave me a single problem. BTW.. Where in ontario are you from?

55 psi did not trigger a tpms light in my 09.
The stems have all cracked on them though.
