Odometer reset to 0 ?!
My odometer has reset to zero.. We'll 41 miles now.. I noticed it was at 22 on my drive home today. Just a little confused on what could cause that. I want to keep my truck for awhile and would like my original miles on there. I know that it being low is a great thing for resale but that's not my intentions. I do know that it is not trip miles.. I checked. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Reset to zero from what original mileage?

I'd love to see a picture....

First for me to hear that, strange, you sure your not on your trip computer since you got your truck and it never got reset till now?

If you are positive that you are not on trip A or trip B then you need to take it to the dealer. There are some liability issues with having false miles on your odometer in many states.

I had a guage cluster replaced in another vehicle and had to sign an afidavit and send it off to have the actuall miles programed onto it before it was installed.

Yeah, first time that I have heard of that.....Need to get back to the dealer.....

on the new tacoma and the 03 f350 i know that if you unplug your abs sensor it turns off traction control and you dont gain any miles. as far as it going to zero ive never heard of that.

You are going to have to talk to the dealership
that has to be Officially documented, maybe they can fix it or documented it if they can't
The documentation will cover you IF you ever decide to transfer the Title

About what mileage did it have on it, before it crashed ?
I'm asking because my '09 is about to click over to 100,000 before this year is over, i have 2,300 miles to go !!

My 2009 Ram reset to zero at 65565 miles. Was your Ram at that mileage? I took to my local Dodge dealer, but he was not able to diagnose (recommended replacing the cluster). I found this forum entry that describes this issue:
2009-Ram-resets-to-zero-miles-when-65-535-mi-are-reached. I'm still researching.
