Newbie from New Jersey that needs help!

Hey guys I am new to the forum and I need some help. I discovered that my passenger side cv axle was bad and I decided to replacing. From what I have heard it is supposed to be a pretty straight forward job but that wasn't the case for me. I was able to get the axle out of the hub and I removed the sway bar and upper control arm to give myself room to word but when I tried removing the axle from the case I was unable to slide it off. I tried a big pry bar with a little love from the hammer and it wouldn't budge. Anybody have any tips or suggestions to get it out? Any ideas will help. Thanks alot

Usually a little heat from your torch will do the trick.

Try a slide hammer with a CV axle attachment they work wonderously!
