Question about dball
So in the past I have used various aftermarket alarm/electric starts. One feature I really like is when your truck is on you could push the button on the module and take the keys out and lock the doors and the truck will remain running so you can run into the store or something. I was curious if you could do this with the dball kit.
I really like all of the features other units offer, but I really don't want to carry two key fobs so I'm interested in the dball. I really hate the fob on our trucks, it's so big I wish we just had a normal key. Any help is appreciated.
I have no clue on your question but if you want to wait a month when I put mine in I'll certainly try it.
I installed remote starters for a living when I was going to college several years ago and don't trust anybody to hack the crap out of my new truck. I will only put one in that is plug and play. I've seen way to many issues further down the road caused by installs, by good and bad technicians.
