Yesterday late afternoon I got a text message from my dealer that today delivery of cars to the dealership is just getting in and my truck is one of them, few minutes latter he called me and told me if I can be here in the next 20 minutes I can watch it getting off the delivery truck…. I was just finishing a long day of work so I went straight from my office to the dealership.... it was late, less than one hr from closing time, I asked him if I can take delivery of the truck that evening, he was nice enough to ask his guys to stay late (about 2 and half hrs late) to prep the truck and get it ready so I can take it home last night instead of coming back today.. and this morning he sent one of his guys to my home, took the truck, filled it with gas (32 gallons dealer courtesy) and returned it to me (he did not want me last night to wait for this too) …. This dealership is the best, not just with the RAM but with every other car brand he is a dealer for.. I can’t say enough good things about this dealer customer service, it is just great…. also he has the best service department I ever seen, and they service all the cars in my household.. because of this type of awesome customer service, every time I trade for a new car for the last 15 years I go back to him.

Why can't every dealership be like that? Clearly, this is a dealer who cares about the customer satisfaction, and works to achieve it. The dealer has gained a customer for life with e.m., and seems to me like that should be the goal.

Can you name the dealer, e.m.? They might as well get some karma out of your experience. If they are close enough to the east border, I might travel there from NY for a purchase!

Nice truck!! Congrats!
And very jealous about the great dealer. That's certainly the exception.... unfortunately.

You can't post such a glowing review of a dealer without naming them. It would be worth a trip to get such good service. My salesman wanted me to wait 2 days to pick mine up since it came in on his day off and that was after waiting 13 weeks from the day I placed my order. I declined and closed the paperwork with a different salesman. I won't name the dealership but I will say that I live in far East Mesa, Arizona and they are the closest dealership to me.

BTW, your Ram is a twin of mine, just 7 months newer. Congratulations, let the mods begin.

Over the last several years I had different salesman and all very nice and dedicated, this time I had Craig (general manager) and Curtis (salesman).. those guys are super, they made me feel that I am the most important customer they have.

Thanks Explorer Rob, you are right those two truck are twin, I donít know why mine came with chrome side step, I ordered wheel to wheel side step and was under the impression it will be the color of the truck (gold color) but it came chrome, not a big deal tho since it match the wheels and looks nice ( I think yours is gold as I see in the picture.. right?) Ö. As for the mod I started that already, I installed last night the BakFlip F1 cover and it fit perfect, glad I took the advice about the BakFlip F1 from this forum. As for the dealer it is Dunning Motors .

That was one reason I stayed with the standard step. I wanted to minimize the amount of chrome. That and Ram not offering any credit for the standard steps towards the wheel to wheel steps. I had my Bakflip F1 in my garage a week before my Ram was delivered. Very practical mod. Goes great with the Ramboxes. I keep my bed divider towards the tailgate in the last position. It gives me another 48 x 18 lockable area with easy access.
