How much would you pay?
Thinking about trying to pick these up, but not at his listed price.
What do you think is a fair price? Keep in mind I'll probably have to put new bigger tires on the rims

Those look pretty clean man. They would look great on your truck as well. I definitely think you would need some bigger tires since you have the 6" on there. The rims and lugs alone would be close to 1500 after taxes. I think 1150-1200 is a fair price. And you could sell those tires for a couple hundred on top of that.

Well you're 257 miles from his place of business -

S.S. Haulin & Excavating
3804 Highway 111
Granite City, IL 62040
(618) 410-1635

Worth the drive?

have you asked him if he is willing to sell rims and tires separate? that would knock the price down plus you wouldnt have to deal with trying to sell those tires

RogerRamJet 12-14-2013 06:56 AM

I don't like the low profiles on that rim or that truck. He's asking $350 for each. And since the tire definitely does not go with the rim or the truck, I'd offer $275.

Kcbigbadram 12-14-2013 12:19 PM

He's down to 1000 bucks, but it will probably cost me 150 to get there and back, so 1150 total. Would like to get it a little lower, but we will see. I would hate to get there and they're not as nice as they seem in the pictures.

I was thinking of running the tires through the winter then picking up new tires in spring, I know they are too small for current truck but my current MT's suck in weather.

No I decided to just wait until spring and get a set of BMF REPR instead. I liked the idea of these 22's, but it didnt solve my problem of wanting a wheel with a nice lip to it.

I think theyre still for sale if anyone else is interested in them though.

Yeah, sorry, I don't like the huge rims... But that is just me. I prefer the off road look for a truck, rather than street ricer... But each their own. ;)

That's an OK price, but I wouldn't really like 22" on a 2500 either. 22" look good on R/Ts, and that's about it.
