Ram outsells Silverado

Not sure if this is the right spot to share this, but I thought I should. I think its awesome that all the hard work put into the Ram by the folks at Chrysler is really paying off!

Hopefully the link works haha

Ram is taken over, over by me in ny

You beat me to it. You must have an 8 speed.

I believe this is significant news for RAM even if it is one month. If you read the commentaries RAM has had a significant trend over the last few years in taking market share.

IMHO, I believe it has to with styling, price and features RAM offers. They have proved they are innovative leaders in the truck market, they have been showing this since 1998 I believe when they introduced the world to the first turbo "real" diesel pickup, then again in 1994 with the restyling. Needless to say since RAM, they have shown it year over year since.

The other factor is, Ford and GM are both boring. No significant changes you can put our finger on, only refreshes. GM is real trouble now with the ignition issue and it may just keep people away for a while.

Ford has stepped out with the aluminum body parts, and even though it may lead them to a MT award, I personally believe after the word gets out concerning cost of ownership (Insurance rates and repair problems due to repair centers required certifications to work on them), they may also be in a ditch. I can not see having your vehicle towed 100 miles to get body work done.

Well of course Ram outsold Silverado, because lets face it, a Silverado is just another Chevy:4-dontknow:

Not surprised, the Chebys ugly! What is that big plastic POS-looking thing hanging-down on the passenger side?

Haha you got that right. I've got nothing against Chevy, but they have been kind of slacking lately. It makes sense that the Ram is selling better now, its a better truck and always has been.

As for Ford...They're next!!!

Good news, but no surprise as Ram has really upped it's game and worked hard to improve it.

Awesome news !!!!

I used to be die hard GM fan, but when I wanted to buy a Sierra, I was treated bad at the dealership and the trucks were insanely expensive. They told me RAMs are cheap, it is a cheap brand, dont buy that crap. Guess who is laughing now.
HA!
