2013 Outdoorsman Build

Time to start documenting my build. I started with a new 2013 1500 Outdoorsman QC 4x4 and immediately installed a 2" level and 285/75R17 Terra Grapplers on the stock wheels.

That didn't last long as I wanted more so I then got a set of 17x8.5 Fuel Anza's with 315/70R17 Duratrac's.

And now for the next phase....

The plan is to lift the truck enough to stuff either 36/13.5R18's or 37's under it. I am working a few things with the lift and once that is all figured out, I will disclose remaining details of this build. Here's a clue....coil overs. :shy2:

lol, I will share the details soon enough.

In the meantime, how about a quit poll?

Flares or no flares? I am thinking of taking them off....what do you guys think?

Personally, I'd leave them. They tie the two tone together so well! And once you lift, they will compliment that as well.

Keep em!

Ok, its official....I will be going with Pure Performance on this build. The details of the kit to be used will be shared soon.

My last build was with a 2011 Jeep JK Black Ops edition and it was used to represent Poison Spyder Customs, Rock Krawler Suspension (same owner as Pure Performance), Northridge4x4, TrailReady Beadlocks and BFG in the Pacific Northwest. I showed the Jeep at all of the offroad events for 2 years and wheeled the crap out of it too. Here's a few pictures of the Jeep.

I will try to remember to take a bunch of pictures during and after the build and post them here.

Current plan for the build is to go with Pure Performance long travel suspension along with Prodigy remote reservoir coilovers, 36 or 37" MT's (still working the details), and fiberglass fenders. I haven't decided on who's front bumper or spare tire carrier to run but will soon.

Factory flares are coming off and will be for sale soon.... :4-looney:

I want to add that Andrew at Bullys Performance almost had me convinced on a Zone lift with Fox shox and NOBODY can touch his deals. Thank you Andrew for putting up with me and yes, I will buy from you soon. Great service and great prices...just like everyone says!

that jeep is SICK!

I can't wait to see the pics of the truck!

I wish I could get some kinda shop to pour money into my truck for me. I would have no problem going to the shows and such...

Thanks brah, its fun to roll on 40's with only a 3.5" lift....lol

I'll take a ton of pictures during the build of the truck. Should be interesting as we are going with as small of a lift as possible and still fit 37's with no rubbing.
