Exhaust manifold leak

So this weekend I noticed a ticking noise coming from the engine. After reading other post on here I came to the conclusion it was the exhaust maifoild broken bolt. My truck is a 2010 with 77500 miles. Does anyone have any experiance in changing it out or fixing the problem? how hard is it to do by yourself? I tend to do all work on my vehicles.

Does this issue just affect the 2010 trucks?

heard the same from mine Ram BUT it's the JBA shorty headers leaking i thought but we find out they were leaking and are cracked, warped also.... i had the best they made. they lasted 50k and about 2 years, warranty is 1 year, so tomorrow i should get it back with the stock manifolds back on.... that sucks, i'll put pics up of the JBA's as soon i get them home....

Common problems on the '10 Rams. Had mine replaced under warranty last year, you can check with your dealer if you still have power train warranty left, they may change it for you?

I had the same problem 2 bolts were broken and the dealership fix them both for free because it was still under warranty.

In case anybody is reading this that has a passenger side stock ram exhaust manifold for my 2010, i'd like to buy it. I have an annoying exhaust leak and my truck is past warranty.

My 09 just went through same issue. I'm a second owner so no warranty for me. Dealer wanted $800 for job, my local garage did it for $380. Passenger side is quick, drivers side took a bit longer due to obstacles

watersupply, if you were not over mileage and time, dealer screwed you. the 5 year 100000 mile warranty is transferred to the 2nd owner.
