rust converter, any thoughts/experience?
I bought my truck last October and rust proofed it. winter has passed, and yeah, there are some rusty spots here and there. no complaints, it's a truck made of steel with exposed frame. I tried to sand off the rust and spray on some protective coating, but hell yeah it was hard to craw under the truck already. so now I'm thinking of those rust converters, it seems all you need to do is to spray and wait for it to convert. has anyone used it and is it any good?
It turns black when it reacts with rust. I spray everything under the truck with "Fluidfilm" after hitting the rust with converter. Sprayed inside frame, dropped spare and blast behind. Blast inside doors and don't forget to remove fender liners, and blast the "Fluid Film" or "Kroil" behind them as well as inside rocker panels. You can do it if you put it on jackstands, but easier if you get her on a lift.

many of the members in here that are from Canada use this product
you may look at a product called POR-15 if you just want a converter
