droppin it

to coinside with peshields thread, ive been thinkin about droppin my rear end 2", or whatever it takes to level it out, my trucks 2wd so i really have no need for the lift, and i kinda wanna make it a fast truck. anyways, ive seen rear drop shackles for like 45$, but not sure whats all included/needed in droppin the rear end. im gonna put this out there now, we have a goodfriend(mechanic buddy) in the family, with lifts and everything. any input and suggestions would be greatly appretiated.

If your dropping the rear on your Dodge you will need a leaf spring flip kit.

really, to drop the rear just enough to level it out?

Wanna drop your Hemi?

Just thought id try and help.. I've got a 04 Ram.. I like you have a 2wdrive.. I
wanted the truck to sound and look fast.. I put the Flow Master dual exhaust kit on and dropped it 5 in the back and 2 in the front. I tell u it is just right. It looks great and even handles better.I had a friend of mine make me up some Harley Davidson stripes for the back since i also ride a Harley..I love the truck. Tomorrow im gonna take some pix of the truck and learn how to put them on here.. Trust me if you do the same u will love it...The drop was perfect and she sits level or maybe just a wee wee bit of rake..Keep in touch and we can follow up on this... Thank's Mike from Charlotte...

sounds really sweet, but not to sure if i want to go that low, dont kno if your riding on the 20's, or QC but thats what i got, i still like my 275/60 r 20 tires, so i was thinkin about just a few inches in the rear.

Not true. All you need is lowering shackles. I also had my overload spring removed to get a full 2" drop so it sits perfectly level.
