Synthetic ATF

I remember when I had a Lincoln Mark VIII, the guys in the know on the forums were putting in synthetic ATF, and swearing by it. I did the same, and it seemed fine.

Does anyone put synthetic ATF in their Dodge trucks? I have a 2004 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi.... I'm coming up on 30k miles, and considering a transmission service, so this question came to mind...

Anyone using synthetic ATF? :Hey:

our 06 just had the transmission oil changed to synthetic... shifts considerably better.
Engine is synthetic Rotella, Transmission/Transfer case Synthetic Valvoline and next month, rear end goes synthetic as well.

Thanks for the info, that's good to hear. I'm sure I'll change everything out to synthetic like you did.

I've done synthetics before, primarily Royal Purple products, and I agree, they work. I need to do the truck soon.
