Programer vs Chip
Got a 5.7 with a Hypertech III. Was wondering which is better, replaceing stock chip with a new Hp one or useing the programer to reprogram the stock one.....Can ya'll think of any more simple upgrades besides a cold air kit?

I would always pick a good programmer over a chip.

A few simple upgrades? A BFI air intake, exhaust - just to name a few!

Let me know if you have any questions about the BFI intake. I work for Airflow Innovations (makers of the BFI). Reply here, PM me or shoot me an email -

Yeah, I'd pick a programmer over a chip any day. Ever thought about selling the Hypertech and getting a DiabloSport Predator?

Add an intake and exhaust...those are the best bang for the buck mods you can make.

simple stuff first... CAI/catback exhaust/programmer... then do a 180 tstat, efan... after that upgrade the Y pipe (if it is pinched)..headers.... after that cam/heads..
