My 2009 is falling apart....

so i get in my truck yesterday and look at the passanger floor and here is a large ugly black gob of what looked like poo on my floor mat . turned out that it must have gotten hot enough in my truck (which is odd cause it was only 75 here) and the sound deadner off of the heater box melted and flopped onto the floor mat.... anyone else having this problem. showed it to the dealer and tossed it into the trash , just kinda wierd , 8000 miles and stuffs falling off already :smiledown:.

Just put mine back up fpr the forth or fifth time. It is hot here in the desert,101 degrees, and I have not seen it fall for a month or two. My first oil change is due sometime next week and will bring it in for the service manager to use as a paperweight.

ok at least im not alone. was kinda surprised to see it sitting on the carpet, but atleast its nothing major. barring any future unexspected major problems this is by far the best vehicle purchase i have ever made.

Wow, that is new to me, haven't heard of that before. How are you re-attaching your jimf5?

That sucker is stickier than snot, so I just slap it back up and go. Now that summer is here, avrage daytime temp is 102 degrees, it is just melting off and falling down. will get it fixed next week.

This just happened to me in the middle of the winter!

badash5575 02-10-2010 03:55 PM

same thing here.... just slapped it back up a few times... now that its colder it stays.... in the spring... if it falls I will just glue it on in a couple spots.

glamontagne 02-10-2010 04:03 PM

I can't slap mine back up, it is completely melted.
