Seat belt buzzer

I have an 07 1500 qc. Anyone know how to make the seat belt buzzer stop beeping when the seat belt isn't latched?

buckle your seat belt? lol i had the same question but you beat me to it. it's so annoying.

i usually just wear the lap belt and throw the shoulder strap behind me. But I hate the feeling of being strapped down. But there has to be a way.

is there a fuse somewhere? under the hood maybe?

ram_it 07-06-2009 09:46 PM

I don't know if I'd pull a fuse. It might power something else too.

true. maybe get it flashed off the ecu?

Really? Who would do that? I thought I would snap the middle seat belt in there since it never gets used. But it's smaller.

I don't really get it, on the newer models ( I drive a 2nd gen ) It'll beep when you put the shoulder belt behind you? Even if its buckled?

Here's something a guy on the rigs told me. He found a junked version of his truck and just cut out one of the buckles. He drives around with it buckled in and there's no problems.
