Swtichin grills

Whats the difference, besides painted and chrome, for the grills on the sport models and regular ones? I have the painted now but its busted and I picked up an aftermarket chrome one for $10 and I want to know if there are any mounting issues.

So I got it switched and its different. 1. It doesnt stick out as much. 2. Its shorter so theres a slight gap. 3 . The brackets are different so the grill cannot fasten to the brackets. I am just going to zip tie it untill I find a new bracket. One good thing is that it mounted to the hood.

No the sprots grills are different. The sport hood and bumper were made to fit together without a large gap but the regular grill just is a little different shape. The sport grill did sink in more and it did drop down a little lower to the bumper like wermbang found out.

I had a 2001 Sport and loved the painted grill and bumper
