2/4" drop of 4x4 and rims
Hey guys. I'm looking to lower my '07 1500 QC/SB 4x4 by 2/4"

I'm having trouble finding a kit for 4x4. Now this is used off road on occasion, but only dirt track so no serious 4x4, that's what the custom crawler and quads are for. Plan to bag the rear with static bags just to give the clearance when I haul hay; who says a work truck can't look good. (just don't tell anyone I drive a f-350 for work...)

Also, anyone know how well the 'auto' rims work on trucks? not to stoked about most truck rims so far but I still need some durability for running out to the ranch or occasional wellhead.

Good question, I have never heard of anyone putting car rims on our trucks because the majority of bolt patterns won't fit without an adapter. I guess as long as it has a weight rating capability that matches the stock wheels, it should be ok then.

i have a 4x4 and also want to lower it 2/4, i found that one one brand carries a kit that will work on the 4x4, groundforce and its also pretty expensive.

Summit racing has an Kit for 4x4s for 2005 Compatible trucks for around $730 w/ shocks. this is the one I'm gonna get for my Ram Daytona

2006 up has IFS (independent front suspension) which I believe is different than the 2005!

find any drop kit for a 4x4 yet besides the groundforce? the groundforce uses keys to lower the front instead of spindles or springs. im looking for a kit with the spindles. i know some people have used mcguayes(spelled wrong) front spindles but i cant find a kit i want to use spindles in the front and flip kit for the rear.

So far groundforce is the only one i've found for a 4x4 and i've been looking a while. I wonder if you could install the drop spindles from mcgaughy's insted of the keys from GF. I wonder if the spindles could handle the added stress if you took it off road if you had to.

I wonder if the drop spindles will have the axle shaft cutouts in them for 4 wheel drive...
