4x4 hubs?
Hey guys, here's what I've got: 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 SB I want to know if anyone makes a set of manual locking/unlocking hubs for this vehicle. It completely factory stock presently.

Thanks, Mark

Don't think it's available . No way to install them . Axles are bolted through splined hubs .

It can be done and there is a kit to do it on 94 to 08 Dodge Rams, however it isn't gonna be cheap.

Dynatrac also has a replacement axle hat comes with manual hubs for 94+ Rams, or there's an option to use Ford Dana 60 knuckles and hubs, but it's not a bolt on type deal, you would have to do some mods to make it work.

Well I stand corrected . Nice find . Never knew it was possible . Your right quite expensive .

Why in the world would you want to?

Would definitely help on fuel mileage . But at those prices , would take a while before they pay for themselves .
