1980 corvette

My family is really into cars, we've got loads floating around. Here is some photos of the restoration on my moms 80' Corvette. She is the original owner. Pretty cool seeing it come together! Sit back, and Enjoy!

The tear down/sanding process.

WOW!!! That is a VERY clean Corvette. The interior looks brand new! That color combo is very nice as well, great to see one that isn't all black inside. I have to rep these pics when I can again. I think there are some other Vettes in that garage too... some 60's I believe (the black with black top is perty ;) ).

This is ironic as I just found out yesterday my cousin in Florida has a 1980 Corvette as her daily driver.

Indeed there is plenty more! These truly can be daily drivers! Ours has a small valve cover leak at the moment, nothing a few bucks cant fix though!

Heres some more about the c6... quite the history. The black c6 is base. Really, no options on it. The Silver convertible as seen here

has the z51 package, rides rough and what not. But just loves to eat batteries for breakfast. With no power, it obviously won't start. And the end result is...

Gotta love them though.

Oh man I'll have to find some. That was the beginning of an amazing car. The owner put in over 100 grand into that restoration. The finished product was cherry red with a white soft top. Basically the chassis was all that was original! I'll look for some pictures. That one in particular went off to a car dealer known as Park Place LTD, and was auctioned off.
