DYI OEM rear view camera tailgate connector

Hi guys, I some someone is willing to help with this...

Like some of you may know I live in Belgium and bought an '09 Ram last week. Now you don't get to order one and decide what bells and whistles you want on it, at least not if you don't want/can't wait for several months...

So that's why I ended up buying an '09 Ram without the rear view cam installed. No prob I though, I ordered the camera kit and installed it last night. No problems, until I arrived at the tailgate connector part...

You got the long wire harness coming from under the truck bed, and then you have the the short cable harness which comes out of the tailgate. There's a connector between them so that you can still remove the tailgate, problem is: I can't figure out where this connector should be mounted/put.

Could someone who has the cam on an '09 Ram be so kind and remove his/hers tailgate and take some pictures of both the rear side of the car and the bottom of the tailgate, so I can see where the connectors and cables should go?

I'll be forever in your debt...

Could some one please post a picture :(

I'm desperate on getting this cable connected in the right way...
I've found that in the owners manual on page 206 (tailgate removal), it says that in the pickup bed sill there should be a connector bracket, but not on my car, probably because it didn't have the camera ther is no bracket, just a big hole.
Too bad this bracket wasn't included in the camera kit.

I also looked in the service manual but cannot find a part number for this bracket...

I had my buddy at the dealership look for the bracket that you are looking and he says it should have come with camera kit. He says no way to order just that bracket. I personally don't have the camera yet, but hope to within a cuople of weeks, if I get one I will look to see if the bracket has a part number. Thanks again for the wiring help.

You're welcome for the wiring, glad I could help out instead of asking questions al the time :)

Well I checked the installation manual of the rear camera, and there's a section describing what should be included, but the bracket is not among the list of parts.

Anyway, I went to a local dodge dealer today bc my rear camera stil had to be 'activated' in the ECU, and the guy over there made some calls and apparently said he could order the bracket, so we'll see if it's the right part when it arrives... off course I forgot to ask what the partnumber was but if the part gets delivered and is correct I'll definitely ask the numer and post it here for future reference

Or
