Amazing first day of fall!

Record heat around here, didn't even see heat of this intensity during summer. We peaked 95*F today in my town, Covington, Washington. Absolutely amazing. Everybody who is from here had to stay inside because it was way to hot out for our liking! 70 is prime.

Rest of the week is supposed to be mid 80s. can't complain.

Had a mild summer here in Baltimore . Now in the evenings it goes down into the 50's and the afternoons it's in mid to upper 70's . Great weather .

Believe it or not, in '04 we had snow for Christmas, and it stuck for 3 days!!! Thank goodness I had nowhere to go, but it really was very pretty, got some good pics, 'cause it actually accumulated a bit, but boy was it cold, and last year, we got snow flurries. They had predicted it, but the night before it rained all night. I had fallen asleep in my living room, and every time I woke up I would check, but no, still rain. Finally around 7 in the morning, the first flakes began to fall, it had finally changed over, big flakes, too, so, yes, every blue moon, we'll see snow, but that really was the prettiest Christmas I have ever seen! :) I just wouldn't want to live all Winter with it.

In December 2004 we got 16 inches of snow here in Kentucky. That was a bunch for here.

Wow, that sure is pretty. ANY snow at all is a bunch for here, lol! Nice pic, but is that just how the snow piled up on the table? That's pretty cool! :)

Yep. At that point it had been untouched by human hands. Amazing amount of snow to fall in a short time for this far South.
