Brake Warning Light

My truck has both the ABS and Brake Warning Lights on. Checked the speed sensor in the rear diff and the wiring to it, all's good. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Or do I need codes?

I would say check the abs sensors.

Check all fuses first . Check brake fluid level also . Need to get trouble code next , more than likely it's the sensor .

check the brake fluid level, and i remember someone having a problem with a wiring issue in the steering column

You didn't mention what year your truck was, but there is a software update for the '09 that among other things addresses this issue.

since he said he checked the sensor in the diff i assume 3rd gen or older because i do believe all the 09 rams come with 4wabs he has the 3 channel if he has the sensor in the diff

My bad, it's a 99 with the 318.
