I don't recommend heating the springs...

RedneckDodge 10-07-2009 03:24 PM

alright heard that ruined the handlin

chithead 10-07-2009 03:32 PM

You have a four wheel drive Ram?

RedneckDodge 10-07-2009 03:41 PM

yeah, figure i'm gonna have 2 take it out

chithead 10-07-2009 03:52 PM

Hmmm... definitely wouldn't consider taking the 4wd out. The only options I see would be to modify (I don't recommend modifying) or replace the front coil springs, and either rear lowering shackles or new springs for the back.

that wouldn't ruin the 4x4 in it

chithead 10-07-2009 04:18 PM

Well depending on who you ask, lowering a 4x4 is technically "ruining" it.

true, but i just need it 2 take a corner at 75 and i'm good not worried bout off-road don't want 2 get it dirty.

:doh:I would recommend trading it in and buying a 2WD truck . You're not gonna make a 4WD truck handle like you can a 2WD .
