Leak from transfer case to rear drive shaft
I blew my transfer case on my 2003 Ram 4X4. I replaced it, but now I have a couple of small drips coming from the transfer case where the rear drive shaft goes in. Could this be from overfilling?

Either that or the rear seal needs to be replaced.

Can you tell if it's coming directly from the seal at the output yoke or from somewhere else?

Welcome to RamForumZ, glad you joined us here! Sounds like MADDOG is onto something there with your yoke seal, already had that done myself :(, but good luck getting it fixed and there is always someone here who can help, so I hope you enjoy the board! :Hey:

Welcome to the Z for Rams from Baltimore . Enjoy the Site . Any questions , ask away .
It could be if you overfilled it . Make sure if it has a vent that the vent isn't clogged . Could be a groove in your yoke , bad seal or even a bad output shaft bushing . Let me know what you find . If your truck is a 1500 , remember they don't hold alot of oil so keep an eye on it .
