I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but with my old truck, 1st gear was for really just getting started if you were towing. And when you were just cruising in first, and took your foot off, it would dramatically slow down, and when you hit the gas again, even if its softly, it would lurch foward.

My truck was recommended to start in 2nd, unless towing though I found that weird.

More info on your truck would help. May be the fuel filter clogged

Oops, sorry about that. Well shoot, I am stumped then!

So whats the diagnosis?

dirtsurferus 11-27-2009 09:34 PM

if it is that new and that little mileage it could be something wrong with the transmission or maybe something just needs to be flashed. that would diffidently be covered under the power train warranty and i would take it to the dealership and get them to fix it for free.

I just checked for any bullitens and there are none regarding that problem. Get it into the dealer ASAP.

Turbo may be sticking, should probably get it cleaned at the dealer.is your catalyst full?
