avg 15 mpg on 05 4x4

I've had it for a month now. First week I got 14.8. Next I got 15.8. Last two weeks I've gotten just above 15. Very conservative with the gas pedal.

Is this about right or should I be getting more?

Right on the money.
To increase mpg as a lot of peers on here will say, CAI and exhaust system to make it breath better!!!Lots o luck

I assume this is around town mileage?

What have you got 1500 or bigger ? Whats the motor size v-6 , 4.7 hemi , diesel ? Is the mileage city or highway ?

GunDog1 10-25-2009 05:58 PM

lol i get like 12.5 mpg city and around 15-16 highway. If im lucky i can get going fast enough on hills to keep momentum and i got 21 mpg for like 2 minutes. It was awesome.
5.7h. O ya

That's about the same mileage as I've been getting with my '09 5.7L Hemi. Was getting right around 15.5 mpg average with the stock tune. Seems to be going up with the predator, but I haven't had the predator long enough to get some consistent results.

Mines an 04 HEMI QC 4x4, thats right around what I get too with a mix highway, city. Lots a highway 16-17, lots of city 12-14. But on average im around 14-15.

i get about 16 average, This last weekend i gased up and drove out to our cabin, 45-55 mph roads and saw 22.5mpg on the way out there 35 miles. Not bad, however as soon as i started in the city again it went down.

we had a 2005 durango with hemi and got on paper 21mpg driving from kentucky to ohio.
now we have a 2008 durango limited with hemi and lucky to get 17 mpg on the highway.
