Mods just continue , don't they . Where did you get the loop from ?

I had it made by my muffler guy..I couldn't find any loops that would fit the fat aluminum shafts so I bought 1/4" stock and had it meade up..

Curious, what's the point of the loop? never seen it before. And you undsized the alt pulley to spin it faster, correct? How would that affect the alt if you put the underdrive crank pulley?

some tracks REQUIRE a loop if you even run 13's(i'm not chancin gettin kicked, it's a safety feature), when I go to an underdrive crank pulley, all the pulleys will rotate slower, the underdrive alt pulley will, at worst) spin the alt at stock rotation...with the stock alt pulley, i would be close to not puttin out enough power for all the e-stuff..

..last track I went to was 750 miles away...I like to read the track rules before i go to any track (some go over and above NHRA)...and the track did require a loop for any vehicle runnin 13's...I didn't chance it and had one made up...didn't seem to need it cuz the track didn't check for it (altho it was in there rules)
