Need some help
I just found out that my truck shuts off at about 107 or so. I have been told that this is because the governor. Is there any way that I can take this off myself or do I have to take it to the shop.

The governor is a computer controlled throttle shut down. To disable it you need a tuner like the DS predator which has a function to shut it off. Most shops will not remove it as it's a legislated safety device... like you airbags and seatbelts... but it's simple to do yourself if you have a tuner.
