Wow! I can't believe it was just over a year ago that Google led me to a fresh forum devoted to the Dodge Ram and their crazy loyal owners. It has been amazing watching the site develop and grow like it has. So many members joining, jumping right in and helping, just having a great time discussing common passions. I know it was extremely difficult to pick just one for our first Member of the Month contest, which is why this is truly an honor to be chosen.

Strange to think it all started with a 1985 Dodge Ram. Traded my beloved 1980 280ZX for it (anyone who's owned one knows what I am talking about). The Ram was two tone light and dark blue. Lowered in the back (previous owner removed two of the four springs), windows black as night, and had the second loudest exhaust in town. Went through many highs and lows with that truck, two engines, three transmissions. and many, many replacement parts. Finally sold it to a friend who had it two weeks before betting T-boned by a Grand Am. He actually let me visit the ole girl at the body shop to say my last goodbyes before moving away.

Seeing the "Mayor of Truckville" commercials debut, I knew there would be more. Once you have one, it's just in your blood. Completely fell in love with the 3rd gen bodystyle. That led to the purchase of a 2003 Ram. Did mostly interior mods (all Rockford Fosgate speakers, amp and subwoofer). It was a regular cab 4wd with the 4.7. Scooted along pretty well, did decent on trails, but mud was a challenge. Had it for right at a year before the HEMI bug bit hard enough to trade it on a 2004 Quad Cab. LONG story about that 2004. Let's just say it was a learning experience. Loved it, but the North Carolina Highway Patrol hated me and that truck. After losing my license, it was time to let go and grow up a bit. Two years after that, I was lucky enough to get a 2008 and have been in love with her ever since.

This forum is the best at providing the perfect platform for sharing stories like this. We've all been there before. Depending on the topic, we may still be "there". Being able to share info, experiences, and habits is what makes RamForumZ what we are today. The layout of the site, the atmosphere, and the members make us stand up above the rest. It truly is like having our own family here, and I am so proud to be a part of it.

Thank you all again for this!!!
