Looks can be deceiving
Perfect example of when being lazy can bite you in the ass. I don't know what they saw when they looked over the counter. But the least they could have done was walk around the counter.

Wow , caught on tape . Shame , shame . someones in trouble .

CdnoilRAM 12-17-2009 09:26 PM

Agreed, they should've checked, but sometimes it's obvious the guy's bought it. I think this may be the family trying to get something out of it, wouldn't be the first time.

BlueJet 12-17-2009 09:29 PM

Wow......kind of alarming! But if the guy was dead and they knew it......

Tough call but yeah, they probably should have made the effort to reach the victim.

Didn't see anybody take vital signs or check for a heartbeat . He may have still been alive . Well never know .

MightyBlueRam 12-17-2009 09:33 PM

I think there are those times when you can look at someone and it's obvious that there's nothing else that can be done. In my dept, we have to at least hook the person up to the cardiac monitor and see if there's any kind of electrical activity in the heart. I wasn't there but I think the lawyers are probably going to have a field day with this.

I am sure you are right...they are like vultures at a kill!!

I think if it's obvious... why even bother. A man got ran over by a garbage truck around here, my dad was called out to it, the man didn't look anything like a human being, he said the paramedics didn't even have to walk closer than 5 feet to the guy. It's had to be a bit obvious, paramedics wouldn't just do that.

Technically they still need to check . You know how this ignorant judicial system is . Bunch of damn crooks .

98sst 12-17-2009 10:01 PM

Yeah definately have learned about it, and I always wonder about corruption. The Judicial Branch technically is "Unfair" in their checks and balances, and could potentially take over IF they desired to.

Wonder how far it'll go assuming a big deal is made out of it.
