Throw everything else away .

I was putting wheel cylinders in a friends 14 year old Jeep Cherokee today . When I went to remove the brake lines from the wheel cylinder , the typical thing happened . The nut is frozen to the line . Didn't want to exert to much pressure on it for fear of twisting the line in half . So I broke it loose and squirted some Kroil around the fitting and wheel cylinder area . Damn wouldn't you know it , that stuff broke the nut loose . I am seriously impressed with that stuff . I am gonna throw all my other penetrating fluids away . This is what it looks like . http://base-images.cygnuspub.com/ima...roil_FCP_1.png

i usually have better luck with the red wrench when it comes to frozen brake lines. but looks like ill have to give this kroil a try , everyone on here seems to think its the cats meow.

I've never tried that stuff before! Thanks for posting that Tom!

My co- workers use it and swear by it . Everytime I run into a jam , I use this stuff and am totally amazed by it . I thought PB was good , this stuff is just totally remarkable . Seeing how rust is attacking this Jeep I was prepared to use a torch on the brake line nut to get it freed up . I sprayed it down and let it do it's thing while I stripped down the backing plates , and by the time I was done I put a line wrench on it and worked it back and fourth and it came loose . I have never seen anything work that fast with that kind of results . Again if you can find it , get it , it won't let you down .
