C.A.I finally done

Hey everyone. Hope all is well. Took advantage of +5 celcius today and takled my hemi hat to finish my C.A.I. I had it hooked up to the hemi hat for awhile now. Piping done to throttle body. Looks so wierd with the hat off. I was hoping the hat was in to pieces so i could incorperate the top part to the C.A.I .All i need to do is attach the hose from the PVC and im done. Hope you dont mind a do it yourself job:LOL:

bones64 01-15-2010 04:10 PM

Havent taken it out yet and its 4inch sewer piping that i had left over from my trailer:LOL:Very light and cheap. K&N filter was $65 bucks and the rest was only 25 bucks for paint. I got just under a hundred in it . thats all.

Thanks everyone. Question though..............I had the C.A.I hooked up to the hemi hat......Its now gone...........I hear alot of air coming.....is this normal? Never did this before/with the hat on. Did the hat restrict that much airflow? And yes without the hemi hat i do notice more get up and go!!!!!!!

Homemade is the way to go. Those hats are pretty restrictive.

Nice job Bones! That's a way to save some money. What do you guys mean by "hat" ? is that the box that holds the filter?
