If you want to tune on the fly, it's gonna be laptop based. The Predator and SuperChip units are not set up to tune on the fly. You can log while driving with them, then adjust your tune based on what the logs tell you.

lol..I knew i didn't understand the question...the only one I used for my truck (before i used diablo) was superchips with a psc1 piggyback... with my laptop attached, I could adjust map voltage which in-turn adjusted injector voltage, end result i could add or pull fuel based on my fuel trims...but I would have to stop and make these adjustments..not on the fly...

I don't know of any that can tune 'on the fly' since the cpu has to be overwriten and that will cause serious drivability issues if it's been done while it's trying to access it.

While I recommend the Predator above all, I have read the Bullydog Triple Dog GT gas tuner has on the fly power adjustment.

One problem that I have come across on various forums, is that "on the fly" tuners will leave some kind of signature on the pcm. Not a good thing for having warranty work to be done. Dealer could possibly read the flash program. Just my $0.02 worth.

Has anyone used a programmer and brought it in for warranty work? If so, what was the result?

I have a superchips tuner flashpaq and i went in for something so i put it back to stock and it was good they didnt see it.
