All I can say is "HOAAAALY CRAP!" But was he serious about the high visibility jacket or was he being sarcastic?

over here hi vis jacket or vest is a must if you are on the railway.

streetbob 02-08-2010 08:54 PM

On the railway?? You mean if your working on the railway? or while driving across one? Please, you must explain... before we have to wear them here. Somehow, bright orange reflective gear doesn't go with Harley.:4-dontknow:

Yikes  but very true. Was curious about the high vis jacket myself. Good post Dann, definitely shows the dangers of jumping the tracks. People do it here all the time.

If you are working on the railway you must wear a hi vis jacket, If you are a person general public and need for some reason walk on the tracks or next to the tracks it is high sense to wear a hi vis jacket.

All our trains here have to have a yellow warning panel on front (law) and anyone working on or near the tracks or train / locomotive has to wear a hi vis jacket (law).

That was a frightening video! There is no chance of survival there. I can't see why people are so careless.

That many people have been killed by trains that they had to make a law to wear a hi vis jacket? That's really sad. It happens here also but I don't think as much as it seems to happen over there.
